Tepezcohuite (Mimosa tenuiflora), known as the "skin tree," is a Mexican botanical prized for centuries by the Maya for healing wounds and burns. Its bark gained modern fame after being used to treat burn victims of Mexico's 1984 gas explosion and 1985 earthquake. Rich in tannins, flavonoids, and antioxidants, it's celebrated for supporting skin regeneration, soothing irritation, and promoting a smoother, more youthful complexion.
